‘Feeling dressed workshops’ are hands on community and educational sessions which allow examination and imagination of items in collections from local museums. This includes ‘dress detecting’, data collection and object analysis through collaborative discussion and knowledge sharing.

Archival research into the ‘worn characteristics’ of historical items of dress supports analysis to facilitate workshops and talks, alongside observations of contemporary wearing relationships in everyday life and spaces.
Doctoral research into the haptic aesthetics of dress is a ‘mode’ of communication ‘seen’ and ‘felt’ by the viewer as wearer in public spaces, underpins my practice based research for the curation of dress exhibitions.
