Feeling Dressed Workshops
These workshops are hands on community and educational sessions which allow the visual and hands on examination of pieces from local museum collections. The sessions involve visual analysis, collaborative conversation, knowledge sharing, speculation and imaginative enclothed experiences.

Archival and everyday research into the ‘worn characteristics’ of clothing builds on a method of ‘dress detecting’ (Mida, 2026) I use in these workshops. Doctoral research into the haptic aesthetics of dress as a ‘mode’ of felt communication underpins the meaning and nature of enclothed exploration in these sessions.
